Breastfeeding in public

I'm sick and tired of people making offensive comments when I breastfeed in public. I cover my breast and do everything not to attract attention, but someone always notices and feels obliged to tell me their opinion. It depresses me, because my baby and I need fresh air from time to time and I can't always run home to breastfeed! There are advantages of breastfeeding in public for both the mother and the child, why can't people just see that?
