I don't know who to talk to, and recently have opened up to my guidance counselor and a teacher. There is a lot of stuff I would like to tell them, but do not want them to tell my parents. What are the regulations for teachers and guidance counselors confidentiality? Like what do they have to tell parents/others about and what can they keep secret?

If you tell your guidance counselor that you are going to hurt yourself or someone else then that is when confidentiality is broken and something that they definitely can not keep a secret. Don't be afraid to ask your guidance counselor this question too especially since you are are going to be opening up to he/she more!
