Suicidal friend that i need to help

My friend is 15 and has been feeling suicidal lately. I told her to tell her parents and her therapist how bad it is, but she keeps putting it off. I want to help her, but I have severe anxiety and depression too so I cant be her #1 constant hotline because it triggers depression or anxiety for me. I want to help her, but im not sure how to, and I can't keep doing this. How can I get her to a better place, without stressing myself out?

It’s great that you reached out to us. It sounds like you are a great friend to have, but you are right you should not be your friends only outlet to talk to about suicide. Your friend really needs professional help! If you truly feel that your friend is in imminent danger then call 911 or tell them go to the local emergency room for a crisis evaluation. I know you may feel that you are betraying her trust by calling 911 but god forbid they really attempt suicide it is not something that you want on your shoulders. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at (800) 273-8255 can help with a crisis as well. Another suggestion is to reach out to her parents if you feel comfortable or tell your friend that you will tell her parents with them.
