Gyn check up

Hi! So...I am 10 years old and I think I might have vaginal yeast. I want to go to the gyn for a check up. My parent and I are not close enough and I find that topic too uncomfortable, esspecially that they are gonna think it is my fault so they are gonna lecture me tease me, tell my grandparents. Can you help me?

Thanks for posting! Your concern is a common one so don't feel funny about asking. There is a person that can help you immediately and that is your school nurse. Please go see your school nurse as soon as you can and let her know what your concerns are. Your school nurse will know the exact medical advice to give to you and she will call your parents if she feels it's necessary.
