Self confidence

So I'm 16 and I've been struggling with my self confidence for a while. I get really confident on one day and am completely myself and then the next I think everybody is judging me and act awkward. I hate this about me. And I feel like when I am not too confident on those days, I act rude to people. I honestly don't mean to. My lack of confidence just comes off like that which then makes it worse becAuse then I feel like they don't like me anymore. And also I feel bad when someone who is in a good mood goes to talk to me and I'm not feeling confident because I act awkward and I feel like it makes them think I am fake because some days I'm fun and happy and others I'm not talkative and boring.

How do I get over this and not feel like I have to be fun all the time for someone to like me? And how do I socially cope with being not confident but still able to be myself while chatting?

Okay, so your 16 that is the time that you are going through puberty and you can experience mixed emotions. Sometimes we all have a good or bad day or feel confident or a little sluggish, that's completely normal. If you feel that these emotions seem to get the better of you then maybe talk to someone about your feelings, like a guidance counselor (when school starts again) or a trusted friend or family member or you can even call us. At times all you need is to let your feelings out by talking and you can feel like a big weight is lifted off your shoulders.
