My friend was having an argument with a kid we met on Xbox and the kid asks me what would piss my friend off so I told him say kiss your Sofia his girlfriend. You're smart not to fight your friend. It's possible that he's just heated now because of what happened and by tomorrow he'll have moved past it. You might want to say sorry for the part you played in it, even though you were just joking, it sounds like he didn't find it funny. If he is still angry tomorrow and threatening you in any way, report it to an adult in your school. In fact, you may want to proactively go to the principal or vice principal and tell them he threatened you last night and you want to make sure things are ok today. They may even call him down and try to settle this and at the very least prevent him from physically harming you.
