My mom does heroin. What do I do to try and forget about it? I am really upset about it. Thanks for any help you give me.

Drug addiction is something that can really tear a family apart. You cannot change another person, as frustrating as that might be at times, but you can get help for yourself. Join a support group for children of addicts, get a book on dealing with addiction in family members, talk to people about your feelings and what you're experiencing. Most of all, do your best to not let another person's addiction hold you back from accomplishing your goals in life.
