I told my mother that I want to transition to a boy, I don't feel right in this body and she sounds like she doesn't believe me. I feel like she'll cut communication off with me if I transition when I get older. I'm 14 years old and I have felt this way for over 3 years. I have a supportive god sibling who is non-binary and supports me through the way. But I'm scared that they'll turn their back on me when I save up for surgery. I'm scared.

I am glad you reached out to 2ndfloor for support. That was very brave of you to share that with your mom. Sometimes parent have a difficult time accepting news like that. Give her some time to process this. I have some great resources for you to check out too. I am glad that you have a supportive sibling. That is very important. It is someone you can talk to about how you feel. Please check out the following websites and hotlines. I think it will really help. www.thetrevorproject.org, www.trevorspace.org, www.youthtalkline.org and try this hot line too. (800) 246-7743 You can always reach out to 2ndfloor by text or phone too. 888-222-2228. Good luck and please reach out anytime.
