Over the school year, I learned a lot about myself. That includes me coming out to the people closest to me. That backfired, now my entire school knows I'm a lesbian. And I wasn't ashamed at all, it felt like what was weighing me down in life, was gone. I've always stuck out in the crowd. I have my signature hairstyle and now I have a gay reputation. Recently, one of my guy friends asked me out. I was surprised at myself because I actually believed that I liked him. It's weird because I thought I was a lesbian and so does everyone else. I'd hate to change all over again, but I really like him.

I am sorry to hear that you had a rough time when you came out to friends or family and the whole school found out. It's great that you weren't embarrassed and remember you also don't have to explain yourself to people at school or anyone unless you want to! It is also okay to questioning your sexuality or be unsure about it, often times teenager can go through this, it is normal. So if you like a guy right now explore your feelings. It is important to allow yourself the freedom to explore and become aware of who you are, which can be a process. The process can take a while for some, or could be very quick for others, but keep yourself open to different experiences. Perhaps it would be helpful to take a step back and not focus on explaining yourself or labeling yourself right now because it might be adding some additional pressure or frustration for you.
