Sorry, boys, but this isn't for you. I am 13 and i tried to use tampons before, but they just hurt really bad when i took them out. It probably depends on your body type, but every girl i know has a good review on tampons. I want to use them this week, since its my time in the month, but i'm scared i will just regret it when it hurts taking the tampon out. Help?

Well, you are absolutely right when you say that everyone's body is different. If the tampon gives you an uncomfortable feeling then maybe take a break from using it for awhile and try again in a few months. It is fine not to use them if they hurt you. This is a very personal choice, so I cannot tell you not to use them, but if you are in too much pain then why do that to yourself! Perhaps just use them when you go swimming.
