I don't know how to tell my parents that I have been hiding food in my room and I binge eat it when I get this feeling to and I can't stop. It started after something in my family almost passed away and I used it to help me and now it's hard to stop binge eating and I want to.

If you are uncomfortable with telling your parents about storing and eating food in your room then how about asking them if you could meet with a counselor to learn ways to cope with stress? Binge eating can be used as a way to cope with stress and your brain may have adapted to it. Speaking with someone can teach you ways to replace foods with something else of your choosing. If you would like to discuss this further please call/text 2NDFLOOR at 1(888) 222-2228.
