Dad vs teacher

So recently, Ive gotten abnormally attached to my male teacher, maybe a little crushin on him. Im attached because of how he makes me feel: understood. He's a psychology teacher! I wish he was my father... and like I cant stop comparing him to my dad. We just happen to have a chemistry. I've been finding ways to talk to my teachwr more, but IRONICALLY he is too strict and a bit intimidated whivh is hypocrtical.

Hi there. It is understandable for a student to correlate a teacher with a parent or other caregiver because they are in a role where you look up them in a way.
