  • Only when they are around

It seems that all of my "friends" talk to me when no one is around. When any guy or their other friends, that I am also good friends with come around, they just leave me and act like they don't even no me or don't like me. It's not every once and a while it all day everyday. But those people are my only friends,so if I leave them, than I will have no one to hang out with! Are they just using me? Also i have a cousin in my grade that goes to the same school, and i no everyone like her better and when she is around she does her funny which is either what I had just said or her acting dum. Everyone wants to hangout with her, but not with me. i feel like leftovers!!!!!!Please help!

    Only when they are around

It's no fun feeling left out of the crowd, but maybe you can start looking around for a new crowd that will appreciate you for the special person you are and not just spend time with you when no one else is around. Try doing something you've never done before...sit at a new table at lunch, talk to a person in class you've never spoken to, join a club about something you're interested in. There are really endless choices of things you can do to make friends. They all involve a little courage on your part, but like anything else that is worthwhile, there is no reward without some risk. You can also try asking them why they are acting this way toward you. Maybe they don't realize how they are treating you. Call us anytime at 888-222-2228 to talk more.
